Terms and Conditions for Web School Management System

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Web School Management System (hereafter referred to as "Web SMS" or "the System"). By accessing or using Witts SMS, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the System.

These terms apply to all users of Web SMS, including students, parents, teachers, staff, and administrators.

2. Purpose of the System

Web SMS is designed to provide an online platform for managing and streamlining the administrative tasks of Web School, including student information, attendance, grades, communication, schedules, and other relevant educational and administrative data.

3. User Accounts

a. Registration: To use the System, users must create an account. Users may be required to provide personal information, such as name, email address, phone number, and student/parent details.

b. Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any unauthorized use of the account should be immediately reported to Web School administration.

c. Access Levels: Users will have different levels of access based on their roles (e.g., students, teachers, parents, administrators). Access is granted and managed by school administrators.

4. User Responsibilities

a. Accurate Information: Users are responsible for ensuring the information they provide in the System is accurate, complete, and up to date. Failure to do so may result in limited or restricted access to some features.

b. Respectful Use: Users must not misuse the System for illegal, harmful, or unethical purposes, including but not limited to, posting inappropriate content, sharing false information, or violating the privacy of other users.

c. Compliance with School Policies: Users must adhere to Web School’s Code of Conduct and all applicable rules and regulations regarding the use of the System.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

a. Personal Data: Web School takes the privacy of user data seriously. All personal information collected via the System will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Web School’s Privacy Policy.

b. Data Usage: User data may be used for educational purposes, administrative tasks, and improving the System’s functionality. By using the System, users consent to the collection and use of their data as described in the Privacy Policy.

c. Data Sharing: Personal information will not be shared with third parties without the user's consent, except where required by law or in compliance with Web School's operational requirements.

6. System Access and Availability

a. Availability: Web SMS is accessible 24/7, but users should be aware that maintenance or unforeseen technical issues may result in temporary downtime.

b. Responsibility for Access: Web School is not liable for any interruption in access to the System due to issues outside of its control, such as internet connectivity problems, power outages, or external software malfunctions.

7. Intellectual Property

a. Ownership: All content, logos, designs, software, and intellectual property related to the Web SMS are owned by Web School or its licensors.

b. License to Use: Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the System for personal or educational purposes only, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

8. Fees and Payments

a. Fee Management: The System may be used to manage tuition payments, extracurricular fees, and other school-related charges. Payments should be made in accordance with Web School’s billing policies.

b. Non-Payment: Failure to pay fees on time may result in restricted access to certain features of the System, such as report cards or examination results.

9. Suspension and Termination of Access

a. Suspension: Web School reserves the right to suspend or revoke access to the System at its discretion, particularly if a user violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in prohibited activities.

b. Termination: Users may request the termination of their accounts by contacting Web School’s administrative office. Witts School also reserves the right to terminate accounts if deemed necessary for operational or security reasons.

10. Limitations of Liability

a. No Warranty: Web SMS is provided "as is," without any warranties or guarantees of its accuracy, reliability, or availability. Wieb School is not responsible for any errors, data loss, or interruptions that may occur.

b. Limitation of Liability: Web School will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the System, except where required by law.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Web School reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to users through the System or via email, and the updated Terms will be posted on the Web School website. Continued use of the System after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law
